Mardan : Chairman of the All Pakistan Badar Munir Federation, Muhammad Javed Yousafzai, held a special meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director of Culture, Ajmal Khan, yesterday. During the meeting, he expressed gratitude to the Department of Culture for its full support and for providing the venue for the successful observance of the death anniversary of the legendary Pashto film star, Badar Munir.
Muhammad Javed Yousafzai stated that this initiative by the Department of Culture, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is not only a testament to the promotion of the Pashto film industry but also to the advancement of art and culture throughout the province. He said that Badar Munir was a legendary artist who won the hearts of millions through his artistic excellence, family values, and sincerity of character. His contributions will always be remembered and will serve as a guiding light for future generations.
He added that the All Pakistan Badar Munir Federation organizes special events every year to commemorate the anniversary of Badar Munir’s death. These events are attended by members of the artist community, art enthusiasts, and the general public in large numbers. The purpose of these events is to acquaint the younger generation with the art, sacrifices, and cultural heritage of their predecessors.
Director Culture Ajmal Khan assured that the Department of Culture, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will continue to support artists and promote cultural activities across the province. He emphasized that the government will keep taking such steps to facilitate artists and enable them to present their art to the public in an even better way.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Muhammad Javed Yousafzai once again thanked the Department of Culture for its cooperation and expressed hope that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will continue to take concrete measures for the protection and promotion of artists and cultural heritage in the future.
